We founded Earth Essence in March 1999 in a historical building in downtown Linden, Michigan.  Our vision was to provide you, the consumer with gift items focusing on nature with unique and unusual artisan products.  We both grew up in families of entrepreneurs who believed that dedication to service and a quality product were very important.  Today, we continue those same traditions.  We decided that the best way to share our love for these products and services, was to develop a web site.  Many of the special gifts you found and fell in love with at our store are available here.  We will continue to have many new unfolding selections.  Please continue to check back with us.  If you ever find yourself in Ann Arbor, Michigan please stop in to our sister shop Emerald Dragonfly.  It is located at 419 Detroit Street across from Zingerman's Deli.  Check out our newsletter for time and dates of special events and classes.  You can also find us at emeraldragonflyonline.com.

Also, as many of you who frequented the store know, one of Linden's favorite residents was our friendly feline, Lil.  Lil is doing well and is still quite jolly.  Lil now lives with us at our home with our other cats.
